NOPE! No competitive dance here, we focus more on helping our dancers learn technique, and creativity. We do have Performing companies that have more performance opportunities throughout the year. They also begin learning how to choreograph and create dances!
-
At Utah Dance House, we focus on keeping everything family-friendly. Our costumes are designed with modesty in mind—no bare midriffs, and most a 1" tank top or capsleeve for performances. We want everyone, from the dancers to their families, to feel comfortable during the show. The same goes for our dance moves—everything is age-appropriate and fun for all audiences!
-
Classes are capped at just 8 dancers so your child receives individualized attention, builds confidence faster, and never gets lost in the crowd.

For our dancers 3 and up we have an end of year performance in May/June. All classes participate in the Recital. (Parent and me Tiny Stars classes do not perform, however, we do an additional performance opportunity for our Tiny start about 5 weeks before Recital for those wanting to learn a dance and perform.) Our Performing Companies also do more performances throughout the year.
-
We have Ballet/ Jazz combo classes, Tap & Hip Hop classes. Our parent and me class focuses on creative dance.
-
Our all inclusive tuition takes care of everything you would normally pay for in a dance season (your registration fee, and for recital classes - recital costume rental*, recital fees, and two tickets per family to the recital.)
-
We know life's busy, and we want to make your life easy! It's hard to remember and budget for extra random costs and fees like Costumes and Recital throughout the year. We make it easy by spreading the cost so you have equal payments each month, no more surprise payments!
-
GREAT NEWS! We do Autopay! Tuition is charged on the first of the month September - June (or through May for Tiny Stars classes) So you don't have to worry about a thing! Once you registered for class you're good to go just set it and forget it, because who wants another thing to try to keep track of and do each month?!

Specific Dress Codes will be in the class description on the class page. (Please Double check there!) Generally for ballet/Jazz it's a Pink or black leotard (ages 7 and up Black) Pink Convertible tights, Pink Leather Full Sole Ballet Shoes, and Black Capezio Jazz Shoes. For hip hop and Tap they will need Specific shoes. We Highly recommend purchasing shoes through the studio to make sure you get the correct type, size, etc. We like our shoes in class to be uniform so please double check before purchasing elsewhere. You can also purchase the tights, leotards, and skirts to make it easy! We can size your dancer to make sure they get the correct size and feel comfortable while dancing!
Tips:
1. Not all dance shoes or clothing are created equal... some dance shoes are made with plastic and not leather which doesn't wear well or last as long, can hurt little feet, and peel and crack.
2. Not all shoes are sized the same, ALL dance shoes are sized VERY differently (Even if it's from the same company sometimes different styles of a shoe run completely differently!
3. If you purchase tights elsewhere PLEASE make sure they are convertible, for part of class we may be barefoot and need to flip the tights up so they don't slip.
